The Town of Bassendean continues to review the future operating arrangements for Wind in the Willows Early Learning and Child Care Services.

The Town of Bassendean Council has resolved to adopt updated fees for Wind in the Willows for the 2026/27 financial year, to maintain service stability ahead of a planned transition after July 2027.

The Town has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to engage an independent expert to support the next stage of planning for Wind in the Willows.

The Town of Bassendean Council has confirmed it will continue to operate its two Wind in the Willows (WITW) early childhood education and care services until at least July 2027.

At its Ordinary Council Meeting on 24 March 2026, Council resolved to adopt a new direction for the future of the Wind in the Willows Early Childhood Education and Childcare Services.
