The Bassendean Volunteer Centre is an initiative of the Town of Bassendean to support volunteering. Staffed by the Community Development Officer (Volunteer Services) and a team of volunteers, the Centre provides:

  •  A referral service to enquiring volunteers

  • Promotion of volunteering opportunities and the benefits of volunteering

  • Training and information sharing opportunities for community organisations

  • Support for community groups to recruit, manage and retain volunteers
