Graffiti Removal and Management

Graffiti on Council property, in public spaces, and on private property can negatively impact the Town's visual amenity and contribute to perceptions of reduced safety and increased crime. It also impacts community pride and can detract from the overall liveability of the area for both residents and visitors.

Timely removal is the most effective way to prevent graffiti from reoccurring.

The Town is responsible for removing graffiti from:

  • Town-owned assets, including leased properties
  • Structures on public land, such as parks and reserves
  • Private property, under certain conditions - please refer to the Graffiti Management Policy for more details.

Note: The Town does not remove graffiti from infrastructure owned by utility providers, regardless of whether it is located on public or private land.

The community are encouraged to report incidences of graffiti for removal either via the Town’s Customer Service team on 9377 8000 or by email to [email protected]
