The Town of Bassendean has prepared a draft Community Safety Plan to guide a coordinated, evidence-based and achievable approach to improving community safety over the next four years.

The Plan builds on the Town’s existing initiatives such as CCTV rebates, graffiti removal and infrastructure improvements, identifies opportunities to strengthen our partnership with WA Police and deliver practical actions to create a safer and more connected community.

The Plan also includes the development of CCTV plan to install cameras on community facilities and in key public spaces to ensure the safety of vulnerable community members

Community members are invited to review the draft plan and complete a short online survey to share their feedback.

The survey is open to everyone – your feedback will help shape the final plan and ensure it reflects the priorities of our community.

Complete the survey online by 4pm, Friday 4 December.
