Community Safety Plan

The Town of Bassendean has prepared a Community Safety Plan to help develop a coordinated, evidence based and achievable approach to improving community safety over the next four years.

The Plan builds on the Town’s existing initiatives such as CCTV rebates, graffiti removal and infrastructure improvements, provides opportunities to strengthen our partnership with WA Police and identifies practical actions to create a safer and more connected community.

The Plan also includes the development of CCTV plan to install cameras on community facilities and in key public spaces to ensure the safety of vulnerable community members.

We invite your feedback on the plan’s proposed priorities and actions to help ensure they reflect the needs and concerns of our community.

Your feedback will help shape the final Community Safety Plan to be presented to Council for consideration.
