Power to the People - Bring back life to Old Perth Road
Power to the People is being delivered in partnership with RAC, through its Reconnect WA initiative, which aims to create vibrant streets and public spaces for Western Australians to interact and connect with each other.
From 24 September until 9 October 9 2022, the Town is trialling a pedestrian-only zone in the north lane of Old Perth Road between Guildford Road and Wilson Street.
We will be hosting two weeks of FREE events, workshops, and activities in the trial zone.
During this time, we encourage the community to provide feedback through a survey that will be made available onsite and online.
The information received during this time will be used to guide Council’s decisions on the future of the space.
