The northern section of the Bindaring Park path network is now complete, connecting the eastern section of Harcourt Street to Anstey Road.
Works will continue to expand the path network, with the 2026 focus to be on the Anstey Road blocks.
The area around the path is being revegetated by the Friends of Bindaring Wetland Bassendean and volunteers from La Salle College, with funding provided by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions through the Community Rivercare Program.
The revegetation project aims to introduce a dense shrub layer to enhance native species habitat, particularly for quenda, in the eastern section of the northern zone of Bindaring Park.
