ATCO Gas Works Within The Town

ATCO Gas will shortly commence the Bassendean North stage of the new polyethylene (PE) mains installation program, which will replace the existing PVC gas main within the Town of Bassendean.

Service locating works are scheduled to begin in December, with overall project completion anticipated in Quarter 2, 2026.

The Bassendean North stage will include works along Rugby Street, Culworth Road, Chesterton Road, Troy Street, Parmelia Way, Mann Way, Lukin Way, Broadway, Scaddan Street, Iolanthe Street, Penzance Street, Yelland Way, Dyer Road, and a section of Collier Road.

ATCO will distribute residential notification letters to properties within the Bassendean North works area in the coming weeks. Information will also be published in the Echo newspaper.
