The draft Local Planning Policy seeks to:

• provide guidance for the establishment of short stay accommodation land uses (such as Air BnB ad Stayz) within the Town;
• to ensure that short-stay accommodation will not compromise the character and amenity of the surrounding residential area or nearby residents; and
• establish criteria for the operation of short stay accommodation.

Submissions close 5:00pm 2 September 2022.

Following the close of the submission period, Council will review the submissions and consider the draft Local Planning Policy –Short Stay Accommodation for final approval.
