The State Government has supported a grant to replace the decommissioned jetty with a new jetty at Sandy Beach Reserve, Bassendean.  

This will complement the new nature-based playground and ablutions to be constructed by the Town of Bassendean in 2021. 

The new amenity will provide further recreational options for people of all ages and interests in the popular riverside destination.
