New Exemptions for Development

A number of amendments to the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 have now come into effect.

 From February 15, 2021, homeowners and small businesses will be exempt from requiring development approval for some single homes, extensions and small projects such as cubby houses and patios, as well as a range of change of use applications such as cafes and small bars.
