Our e-newsletter has a new name and a new monthly schedule! Around the Town – with the tagline Live Local, Love Basso, Ashfield and Eden Hill – celebrates the modern, inclusive and vibrant identity of our community.

As part of this refresh, the e-newsletter will move to a monthly schedule to ensure content is timely and more relevant. We're also updating the format to make it more engaging and community-focused.

Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply:

1. The competition is open to all who subscribe with a legitimate email address to Around the Town by the closing date. 
2. The competition closes at 5.00pm Western Standard Time on Sunday 14 September 2025.
3. Entry is automatic, with all eligible participants going into the relevant draw(s) for each prize.
4. The competition consists of two prizes: one $250 voucher to Bassendean Hotel and one $500 voucher for Hawaiian's Bassendean. Each participant may win one prize only. 
5. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
6. Town of Bassendean Councillors and employees are ineligible.
7. The winners will be randomly selected and will be notified via the email address provided, with their names published on the Town’s website.
