The Town of Bassendean is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Alderson as the new Director of Corporate Services, commencing 22 September 2025.

Amanda brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in corporate services, governance and financial management across both State and Local Government.

She has most recently served as Director Corporate Services at the City of Nedlands and has also held executive and senior finance roles at the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority, Department of Communities, Public Sector Commission and Department of Justice.

Amanda holds professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), underpinned by extensive experience in finance, customer service, Human Resources, ICT, procurement, and strategic planning and management.

The Town extends a warm Bassendean welcome to Amanda and looks forward to her contribution as the Town continues to strengthen its financial capacity, improve service delivery and progress the community’s aspirations.
