DevelopmentWA is inviting members of the wider community, including local artists, creatives and residents with an interest in arts, culture and local stories, to participate in a workshop that will inform the themes of a future public artwork for their development in Bassendean.  

The workshop will explore the stories, history, character and values that make Bassendean unique. Community insights gathered during the session will help inform the artist brief and contribute to the project's Sense of Place Statement, providing a foundation for the future artwork.  

Facilitated by public art consultant Apparatus, the workshop is an opportunity for interested residents and artists to share their perspectives and contribute to a creative vision that reflects the local community.

Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm (arrivals from 5:30pm)  

Location: Bassendean Hotel – Gallagher’s Bar (25 Old Perth Road, Bassendean)
