In accordance with section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given to the ratepayers of the intention by the Town of Bassendean to levy the following differential rates for each rating category for the 2025/2026 financial year:

The Council adopted the Statement of Objects and Reasons for the above differential rates for advertising at the Special Council Meeting on Tuesday 20 May 2025. The Statement of Objects and Reasons is available and can be inspected at the Town’s Customer Service Centre, at 35 Old Perth Rd, Bassendean between 9:00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
All submissions must be in writing and be received by the Town of Bassendean by 4.30 pm, Friday 13 June 2025.
Once the Council has considered the submissions, the Differential Rates (with or without modification) and the 2025/2026 Annual Budget will be adopted by the Council.
