Community Drop-in Sessions - Windan-Guildford Locality Plan
Monday 27th October 2025 to Friday 28th November 2025
Join us to share your ideas for the future of the Windan-Guildford stretch of the Derbal Yirragan (Swan River). The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is partnering with the Cities of Bayswater, Belmont, Vincent, Swan and the Town of Bassendean to develop a Locality Plan for the Swan River between Windan Bridge and Guildford.
Drop-in sessions will be held at:
- Warndoolier (Banks Reserve), Mount Lawley – 31 October, 4pm-8pm;
- Maylands Waterland – 8 November, 9am-12pm; and
- Garvey Park (Kidz Fest) – 15 November, 11am-4pm.
These informal drop-in sessions are an opportunity to share your thoughts about the river and foreshores. We want to understand how you currently use and value the Windan-Guildford Locality and gather your ideas for how it can be better managed and enhanced for future generations.
No need to book - just drop by any time during the session.
