The Town would like to recognise the contributions of the Bassendean Historical Society Inc. (BHS) to understanding the history of Western Australian over the last 30 years.

Established in 1991 it is one of the Town’s longest running community groups.

Over the last three decades members have chaired Town committees, given hours of their time and valuable information about architecture, people and places contributing in helping building community identity by celebrating culture and heritage.
