We’re celebrating our community by giving 10 lucky residents the chance to win a double pass to the Bassendean Telethon Community Cinemas.

To enter, all you need to do is share what you love most about living in the Town of Bassendean. You can tell us in 25 words or less or upload a photo that captures your love for our Town.

We'll share the winning entries in our Around the Town monthly newsletter and our social media pages.

Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply:

1. The competition is open to all Town of Bassendean residents and ratepayers aged 18 years or older, who enter eligible submissions (a photo or 25 words or less) by the closing date. 
2. Images submitted must be of items and/or locations within the Town of Bassendean. No offensive material will be accepted.
3. The competition closes at 4.00pm Western Standard Time on Friday 27 February 2026.
4. Entry is automatic, with all eligible participants going into the relevant draw(s) for each prize.
5. The competition consists of 10 prizes: 10 x double passes to Telethon Community Cinemas Bassendean’s 2025-26 Cinema season (ending April 2026).
6. The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
7. Town of Bassendean Councillors and employees are ineligible to enter.
8. The winners will be judged by the Town of Bassendean Communications team and will be notified via the email address provided.
9. The Town reserves the right to publish the winners first name and winning entry on the Town’s website, e-newsletter and/or social media pages.
