Online Form - Fee Waiver Request

Fee waivers may be available to local groups or individuals who are delivering a project, program or service that aligns with the Town's adopted Strategic Community Plan.

Note that this application does not book the reserve or facility you intend to hire. Complete the relevant online form for Regular Bookings or Casual Bookings.


  • Complete all relevant sections of this application.
  • Once a fee waiver request is received, eligible applications are assessed by the Administration against the Town's Strategic Community Plan and the strength of the community benefits outlined.
  • A recommendation is then made to the Chief Executive Officer for determination.
  • The Town may request further information and supporting documentation from the applicant. 
  • Applicants are notified of the outcome within two weeks of lodging a fee waiver request.
  • A Regular or Casual Booking Application must still be submitted and all bookings are subject to availability. Applicants will have to sign an agreement that outlines the terms and conditions of use, duration of hire, and co-contributions if applicable.

Terms & Conditions

  • Waived fees are limited to a maximum value of $1,000.
  • Attendees must not be required to pay an entry fee or charge. 
  • In the instance that the Town cannot waive all fees, reduced rates may be offered. 
  • The Town reserves the right to revoke any fee waiver agreement if it is used for a purpose that conflicts with the Town's mission and values or fails to meet the requirements outlined in the Community Funding Policy.
  • Applicants are not guaranteed funding, and any fee waivers approved cannot be guaranteed approval in future years.
  • Standard Facility and Reserve Hire Conditions are still applicable.
