A new chapter for the Town of Bassendean was marked Monday night at the Swearing-In Ceremony for five recently elected Councillors including newly appointed Mayor, Kathryn Hamilton.

Cr Hamilton reinforced,

“As the newly elected Mayor, I congratulate Councillors Emily Wilding, Jennie Carter, Paul Poliwka and Tallan Ames on their election success. I am also pleased to continue working alongside Cr Renee McLennan as the newly elected Deputy Mayor, and Cr Hilary MacWilliam who continue their terms. I look forward to this next exciting chapter as part of a truly diverse council that is representative of the diversity we have in our modern-day community.”
