Submit Your Event
There are many events across the Town organised and managed by the community themselves. If you are organising a special event which you think will benefit the whole community, please let us know.
We get behind activities that support local community and build a sense of place and belonging. We can post it on our What's On Calendar and we’ll do our best to promote it and help make it a success.
Please fill out all the information in the application form below and include a few relevant pictures too. They make every event and news item much more popular.
Before submitting your application form please be across the terms and conditions too. It makes processing your request much quicker.
Terms and Conditions for Registration
- The event must occur within the Town of Bassendean;
- The event should be accessible and inclusive to the local community/general public;
- The event should ideally be free to attend or priced just to cover costs;
- The event should not be a promotion for commercial products or include selling products. If this is some thing you are interested in consider a stall at the markets;
- Please ensure any necessary event approvals are in place prior to registering your event;
- The submission should be made by the event organiser;
- Avoid all single use plastic at your event;
- If the event is open to the public you need to have public liability insurance. Minimum of $10 million;
- If there is consumption or sale of liquor please ensure you comply with the relevant legislation.

Your event registration will be reviewed by the Town of Bassendean.
The Town reserves the final decision on which events will be displayed and promoted. Furthermore, the Town may correct and/or edit the content submitted.
We will notify you if your submission has been approved or declined for publication on our website.
