Expression of Interest for Volunteer Transport Drivers            

Are you passionate about community service and eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Bassendean seniors? The Town of Bassendean is recruiting up to 5 enthusiastic volunteers for the Town of Bassendean’s Volunteer Transport Service. This is a great opportunity to engage in a meaningful volunteer role. 

 Requirements:

• Available on one or two weekdays each week. (Between 8am - 3 pm) 
• Resides close to the Bassendean area.
• Holds a current C class driver's license.
• Holds a current police clearance (the Town of Bassendean will initiate the application and pay costs) .
• Able to commit to 1 year or more of volunteering.

About the service:

The Town of Bassendean aims to provide a shopping shuttle service (Bassendean to Hawaiian Shopping Centre) for ambulant seniors. If you are ready to support our senior community members by helping to provide safe and reliable transportation, we encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).

For the safety of Volunteers and Passengers, there will be recruitment and training for volunteers who are selected through the EOI process.
