The Town of Bassendean recognises the great importance of the present and long term future of trees and the need to identify significant trees located in the public domain. 

Trees will be assessed based on the criteria of aesthetic value, scientific and environmental value and historical or cultural value.

Nominations supported will be added to the Towns Significant Tree Register. Please note the Town is no longer installing significant tree plaques.
