Embedding Sustainable Behaviours at Home Workshop

Past Event

The workshop will include:

  • How to define behavioural goals
  • How to establish new sustainable behaviours
  • How to turn a new behaviour into a habit
  • Tips and tricks for behaviour change (based on evidence of what works).

Workshop participants will leave with a personalised plan to start and embed a new sustainable behaviour at home.

Perth based social enterprise The Behaviour Change Collaborative (BCC) works with government, academia and community to design and deliver behaviour change programs in Australia and overseas. Their skilled presenters draw on learnings from social marketing and the behavioural sciences to provide tips and tools to improve participants’ chances of affecting sustainable behaviour change at home.

In this workshop, The BCC will provide practical tools, hints and strategies to help busy families find easy ways to get quick wins at home. We will simplify the science of behaviour and behaviour change. Participants will learn what a behaviour is (and is not), what influences us to behave the way we do, and how we can use this knowledge to make pro-environmental changes at home.

This workshop is free, but bookings are essential as places are limited.
