Vibrant music and community spirit will merge on Saturday 2 December 2023 as the first of the Music on the Green outdoor concert series kicks off in Bassendean. Music on the Green will showcase the talents of amazing performers, activating Bassendean, Eden Hill, and Ashfield, and supporting local business.

Join us at Music on the Green: Old Perth Rockin’ Road for a fun-filled, alcohol-free event suitable for the whole family. The lineup includes dynamic five piece The Community Chest featuring locals Adem and Dee Kerimofski, renowned for their role in Perth indie favourites Turnstyle and Burgers of Beef. Don’t miss the captivating performance of Freebird (Cindy Stevens), a local solo artist known for her infectious energy. Get ready to groove to popular cover band Licence 2 Thrill with their renditions of disco, rock, and pop classics.

The community can also look forward to the next events in the series: Music on the Green: Celebrating Birak and Music on the Green: Ashfield Acoustics. Details of these exciting events will be released soon.

The Town’s Arts, Culture and Events committee wholeheartedly endorsed Music on the Green, which was developed in response to the community’s requests for more live music in Bassendean.
