The Town of Bassendean is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Brennand as the new Director of Community and Place. Michelle brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role, having served nearly four years as Director of Community Development at the City of Fremantle.

Prior to her tenure at the City of Fremantle, Michelle held leadership positions at the State Library of Western Australia and the City of Wanneroo. Michelle also serves as a member of the Library Board of WA, where she chairs the Policy and Legislation Committee.

Michelle's extensive background in community development, coupled with her proven track record driving positive change and delivering impactful initiatives, makes her a valuable addition to the Town of Bassendean. Her strategic vision, consultative leadership style, and commitment to stakeholder engagement align with the Town's goals.
