The Town of Bassendean is pleased to announce the official gazettal of Local Planning Scheme No. 11 (LPS 11) on 26 April 2024. LPS 11 marks a significant milestone in shaping the future landscape of our district, providing guidelines for subdivision and development. This achievement reflects five years of dedicated effort by the Town, commencing with the Bassendream Our Future community engagement initiative in 2019.

LPS 11 now sets out the zoning of land, permissible land uses, the scale of development permitted and other development standards.

Documents pertaining to LPS 11 are available for public viewing on the Local Planning Schemes section on the Town’s website. For specific property zoning information, refer to the Scheme map or LPS 11 layer on the Town’s online mapping system.
