Each financial year, residents that have a waste service with the Town are able to order one (1) general waste skip bin and one (1) green waste skip bin. Residents can also choose to order two (2) green waste skip bins per financial year by converting their general waste skip allocation into a green waste skip bin.
Where a verge is not suitable for a skip bin, residents may be eligible for the skip bin to be placed on private property with the signing of a waiver and approval from Veolia. If this is still not possible the Town may elect to provide additional tip vouchers. If all previous methods are unviable residents may be eligible for a booked verge collection based on an assessment by Veolia.
Bulk Waste Skip (Blue)
Monday or Wednesday bookings will remain on site for two (2) evenings.
Friday bookings will remain on site over the weekend.

Green Waste Skip (Green)
Tuesday bookings will remain on site for two (2) evenings.
Thursday bookings will remain on site over the weekend.

- ✔ Maximum length 1500mm x 200mm diameter
- ✔ Tree branches and prunings
- ✔ Palm fronds
- ✔ Creepers and vines
- ✔ Succulents
- ✔ Tree stumps
- ✔ Lawn clippings and loose leaves (can be placed in a cardboard box)

As this material is turned into mulch, please DO NOT place garden waste in plastic bags and DO NOT contaminate the skip with non-green materials

The Town provides a service where residents can request up to three (3) bookings per financial year for the following bulky items from their verge:
- Mattresses
- Couches/Lounges
- Fridges/Freezers
Please note that if the items are not on the verge on the booked collection day the allocation will still be considered used.
