Dear Bassendean Businesses,

Easter is upon us and usually this would be a time for gathering with family and friends, early morning church services, public celebrations or travelling. But this year is different with the Covid-19 pandemic forcing different plans for all of us. And that means we will be marking Easter at home. For those who would be heading to church, many churches are offering virtual services on Sunday mornings.

Here are other ideas on how you and your family can still celebrate and share the joy of Easter time in different ways at home:

• Egg Hunt around your house and yard.

• Egg decorating

• Easter Basket Goodies

• Camp or picnic in your back yard.

• Host a virtual Easter dinner – line up friends and family to cook the same meal.

• Have an Easter arts and crafts day with the kids.

• Bake Easter goodies and deliver them to your neighbours by placing them at their doors.

• Get those DIY or spring-cleaning jobs finished.

• Practice selfcare – read a book, exercise, meditate, take a bath, or call a friend or relative.

• Relax and recharge your batteries

• Try something new – a new recipe, walk a different path, or start a new at-home hobby.

In these unprecedented times, we wish you a happy, safe and restful Easter break.
