FOGO Community Celebration

The roll-out of the new FOGO waste system has been a huge undertaking, both for the Town of Bassendean team and for our local community.
By implementing FOGO it is expected that the annual greenhouse gas emissions will be reduced by an equivalent to 2,300 tonnes of CO2 emissions per annum. This equates to taking 500 cars off the road for one year or planting 38,000 seedlings.
As a thank-you to the residents of Bassendean, Ashfield, and Eden Hill, for your support and efforts in making this change a success, we’d like to celebrate with an evening of family-friendly activities, tasty food, and an outdoor screening of Pixar and Disney’s WALL-E.
You can BYO seating and a picnic, or hire a beanbag chair through online booking portal. Strictly no BYO alcohol as this is a licenced venue.
Free paella will be served from 6pm to 7pm, and other food and drinks can be pre-purchased (when booking) or on the night.
Entry is free and tickets are limited, please book early!
