Bassendean Scout Group is having their official launch on the night of Halloween, 31st October from 5-9pm at the Bassendean Skate Park. There will all sorts of fun activities to get involved in after you’ve finished ‘Trick or Treating’ to give you a little taste of ‘Scouting’, including their famous climbing wall, and a photo booth to capture that spooky outfit Scouting is a worldwide youth movement with nearly 60 million members – 7,600 in WA, and helps young people to be their best, supporting them as they develop in all facets of life so they can grow into constructive citizens in their communities. Learning life skills, growing in self-confidence and gaining valuable leadership and team skills are all part of the Scout program, delivered by nationally accredited, highly trained Leaders in safe but still adventurous environments. See you down at the Youth Centre on the corner of West and Guildford Rds to try out all the Scout ‘activity zones’.
