Councillor Jai Wilson

 

Cr Jai Wilson was elected to the Town of Bassendean for a four-year term in 2017.

He has lived in the Town with his wife Kylie Turner and their four children since 2001, when they purchased their home together in Hamilton Street, Bassendean. 

Like many parents in our community, Cr. Wilson spent many summers and winters volunteering in the children’s sporting clubs that make our Town such a great place to raise a family, serving for a time as President of the Bassendean Junior Cricket Club and also as Vice President of the Bassendean Junior Football Club. 

Cr. Wilson is an active member and volunteer of the Bassendean Preservation Group Inc and is passionate about improving our Town’s shared open spaces. 

Cr.Wilson represents the Town on the East Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) and was elected Chairman of the EMRC in 2019.
