There are hundreds of volunteering opportunities in the Town of Bassendean (and wider), it is our aim to put you in touch with positions that are the best match for you. From short term event volunteering positions to something more regular examples include: administration, animal welfare, arts, children, disability support, education, emergency services, environment, health, human rights, seniors, sport and recreation and many more
Council Volunteer Program
The Town of Bassendean encourages, supports and encourages volunteering in council services for example :
Bassendean Memorial Library- General library (currently full)
Local Studies –Administration
Broadband for seniors - Computer Tutor
Seniors and Disability Services – Assisting in day centre & Reception
Children’s Services – Wind in the Willows day care centre
Youth Services - Driver mentoring for the RYDE program (www.ryde.org.au)
Community Transport – driver/ reception
Bassendean Volunteer Centre – Administration and event volunteering.
