How to find an item

Search the library catalogue and note the call number (recorded in the Shelf No field).

This same call number is reproduced on a label attached to the spine of the item.
The call number consists of a combination of letters and numbers and refers to the item’s location on the shelf.
Find the required section in the library and then look for the item within that section. The shelf arrangement of items is either in alphabetical or numerical order.

The table below explains the correlation between the call number as displayed in the library catalogue, the spine label attached to the item and the section of the library.
