The Bassendean Historical Society Incorporated was formed in August 1991 by a group of local residents of the Town of Bassendean, Western Australia.

Our aim and affliations

Our aim is to retain, preserve, record and present the history heritage of the community and township of Bassendean. Our work is in association with the Bassendean Local Studies Collection Management Committee, The Royal Western Australian Historical Society (Inc.) and No. 1 Regional Council.

Meeting times

We meet at 1 Surrey Street, Bassendean, Bassendean (next door to the Pensioner Guard Cottage) at 7.00pm on the last Thursday of the month (excepting December and January).
