Asset Services Information Sheet – Street Name Signs

Introduction

Street name signs are installed throughout Bassendean to provide clear direction to residents and visitors to our Town.

Specifications

Signs shall consist of black lettering on a white reflective background except within the Old Perth Road precinct where heritage style signs with mid Brunswick green lettering on white reflective background will be used. An approved, coloured Town of Bassendean logo is to be placed on the sign to the left of the street name.

Along Guildford Road, Lord Street, Walter Road and Morley Drive, signs for side streets shall consist of a 200mm high plate. All other signs shall consist of a 150mm high plate.

Reporting of Faulty or Missing Signs

Faulty (including problems with line of sight) or missing street name signs should be reported to the Town’s customer service centre on 9377 9000, or via email at mail@bassendean.wa.gov.au.
