Responsible cat ownership
Local law
The Town of Bassendean has a local law to control the number of cats kept on a premise.
The Town also promotes responsible cat ownership, including encouraging cat owners to have their cats sterilised and requesting they keep their cats inside at night to reduce cat nuisances.
Keeping more than two cats
You need to obtain a permit to keep more than two cats. Contact the Ranger Service on 9377 7480 for more information.
