Playspaces Implementation Plan

Community input is sought into a review of the Town of Bassendean Playspaces Implementation Plan.

The Plan was adopted in 2009 with the purpose to provide guidance for the provision of playspaces and the associated infrastructure on public open space within the Town. The Plan had a number of short and long-term objectives on the provision, upgrade and/or relocation of play structures. The recently opened district playspace at Ashfield was achieved as part of this Plan.

The Town of Bassendean, in conjunction with its Children & Family Services Committee, is planning a review of the Playspaces Implementation Plan and is seeking community input into the Terms of Reference for the review, so a community workshop will be held (details below).

When: 7.00 pm on Wednesday 26 October 2011

Where: Bassendean Senior Citizens’ Hall, 50 Old Perth Road, Bassendean

Full details of the workshop, together with a copy of the existing Plan, are available by visiting the Town’s website at www.bassendean.wa.gov.au, or by calling the Town’s Community Development Unit on 9377 8006.
