Football season parking
Bassendean Village Shopping Centre
Have you seen the sign at the entrance to the Bassendean Village Shopping Centre that tells us that there are parking restrictions at the shopping centre? There are half-an-hour and two hour parking bays at the centre.
The Rangers enforce these restrictions with vigour when Swan Districts Football team have a home game because the supporters of the respective sides are looking for parking and the obvious place to park is in the shopping centre car park.
The restrictions are enforced to ensure that our residents have ample parking at the shopping centre when they are legitimately shopping.
If you are unsure where to park when shopping or going to the football call the Ranger on 9377 7480—this may prevent a $40 infringement.
Jubilee Reserve
Throughout football season the number of vehicles parking in and around Jubilee Reserve is at its peak, therefore we find people parking on residents’ verges without their permission. Often this leads to broken sprinklers and tyre marks left in people’s lawn.
Parking on verges
Did you realise that the Town of Bassendean local laws do not permit people to park on your verge without your permission? If you object to people parking on your verge contact the Ranger to discuss the matter and the steps you can take to rectify the problem. This applies to all households in the Town of Bassendean.
