Pensioner Guard Cottage celebration
The Town of Bassendean and the Bassendean Historical Society (Inc) were successful in gaining grant monies to have created and installed interpretive boards in the Pensioner Guard Cottage at I Surrey Street, Bassendean.
These informative boards will be available for public viewing on the afternoon of the last Sunday of each month. On Sunday 22 February 2009, there will be an open public event at 2.00 pm to launch these interpretive boards.
An open invitation is extended to all residents to drop in to 1 Surrey Street to see the Cottage, look at the boards, and enjoy a cuppa and the other entertainment (a surprise) being planned.
Look what’s in store!
Plenty of opportunity for participation, relaxation and revelation!
