What a fantastic night of entertainment was enjoyed by those who attended the Valentine’s Day Concert on Saturday 16 February at Sandy Beach Reserve.
It was a balmy night and the perfect setting for a bit of dancing, romancing and Jazz down by the riverside. With fabulous displays of swing dancing by the SwingZing team and singer Denise Dale and her band the Hi Hat Club belting out 40’s songs for all to dance to or just sit and enjoy.
The wonderful evening was made possibly by the fantastic support of our local community and we extend a special thanks to the Bassendean SES and Volunteer Fire Brigade, St Johns Ambulance, Ashfield Primary School P&C and Ashfield Soccer Club.

The Town will be commemorating Anzac Day with a memorial service at 11.00 am at the Town’s War Memorial in Old Perth Road, Bassendean, on Friday 25 April.
You are invited to come along and join in the service to remember those Australians who have fought and those who lost their lives during all the wars.
