Water Conservation Plan
The Town of Bassendean is inviting comments from the community on our Water Conservation Plan for the management of groundwater.
The Water Conservation Plan will help the Town conserve groundwater and improve water use efficiency so that public open space can be managed under the drier and warmer conditions we are experiencing with climate change. The aim is to maintain the usefulness and attractiveness of public open space while being more efficient in our groundwater use.
Council endorsed the Plan at its July 2008. They also resolved that the Water Conservation Plan would be advertised for a period of six weeks to invite community comment. To provide your comment, please click here >>>
