Alf Faulkner Hall Roof Restoration Project Update
As part of the Towns ongoing commitment to providing quality community facilities, the Town is currently undergoing a major upgrade of the facilities at the Alf Faulkner Hall in Eden Hill.
The project is a joint initiative between the Town of Bassendean and Federal Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government.
The renovation commenced in June 2009 and is now approximately ¾ complete with the Centre anticipated to be re-opened in early December 2009. The renovations include the removal/restoration of the roof, construction of a new public toilet facility, restoration of floors and painting of the internal walls of the Centre.
It is envisaged that the redevelopment will provide the community with a high quality community facility which will be available for hire/usage for a range of functions and events.
