Asset Services' mission, in consultation with the community, is to manage the infrastructure assets of the Town and to provide attractive parks and gardens, well maintained roads and footpaths, and public buildings.

The core function of the Asset Services Business Unit is to manage, maintain, and upgrade the Town's infrastructure assets including parks, gardens, and reserves; roads, footpaths, and drains; and Council owned buildings. Activities in support of our core functions include the provision of engineering design services, purchasing services, and fleet maintenance.

Asset Services also provide support and services to other business units within the Town, and to external agencies, including Public Utility Providers, State Emergency Services, and the Volunteer Fire Brigade.
