Chief Executive Officer
Mr Jarvis commenced as Chief Executive Officer with the Town of Bassendean on the 19 January 2009. He has had more than twenty years experience in Local Government in a variety of roles, and with both very large and very small local governments. He was the Chief Executive Officer with the Shire of Cocos (Keeling) Islands for more than six and a half years, but was most recently a Director with the City of Bayswater.
Mr Jarvis's qualifications include a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Graduate Diploma of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Mr Jarvis is a Fellow of Local Government Managers Australia (LGMA) the peak body for managers in local government across Australia, and is currently the Vice President of its W.A. Metro Branch.
