TOWN OF BASSENDEAN
MINUTES
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER, 48 OLD PERTH ROAD, BASSENDEAN
ON TUESDAY 23 DECEMBER 2008 AT 7.00PM
SWEARING-IN OF NEW COUNCILLORS
Prior to the meeting, the Mayor called on the successful candidates in the 18 December 2008 Town of Bassendean local election, in alphabetical order, to make a Declaration of Office before Mr Martin Whitely, JP MLA. The two Councillors Mr John Cox JP OAM elected for a term ending October 2009 and Mr Don Yates elected for a term ending October 2011, were sworn in using the Declaration of Office.
Congratulations were extended to both new Councillors.

Her Worship the Mayor opened the meeting and welcomed all those in attendance.
