Document repair tape has also been obtained and he will also be repairing any maps that need it.

The interview with Roy Weatherburn has been done, and the transcript is still in progress.
The Committee needs to select the next interviewees from the names put forward by the Bassendean Historical Society.
ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS
The Bassendean Senior Citizens’ Welfare Association Collection has been completed. This was a big project and it is the last substantial collection which needed to be properly arranged.
The Bassendean Croquet Club Collection has been also been processed. The records of the Club were given to the Library last year, when the Club had to vacate its premises at the BIC Reserve.
This brings the total number of collections completed to 10.
CITY OF BELMONT LOCAL HISTORY COLLECTION
Mrs Marcia Maher, recently retired Deputy Librarian at Belmont, visited Ms Leigh as she has been asked to write a report on how the fledgling local history collection at the City of Belmont can be progressed. Methods of appraisal of existing material and ways of developing and organising its collection were discussed.
