EMRC Tourism for Perth's Eastern Region

Perth's Eastern Region offcers visitors the opportunity to experience food and wine; arts, heritage and culture and interact with nature.

Perth's Eastern Region is grouped into three precincts:

  • Swan River, comprised of the Town of Bassendean, and Cities of Bayswater and Belmont;
  • Swan Valley, consisting of the City of Swan; and
  • Perth Hills, comprised of the Shires of Kalamunda and Mundaring.

The EMRC supports member Councils in the management, development and promotion of the precincts.

EMRC Community Waste Education Program

The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) is a regional local government which represents the Cities of Bassendean, Bayswater and Belmont, the Shires of Kalamunda and Mundaring and the City of Swan. The EMRC has initiated the Community Waste Education Program, which seeks to involve the community in the eastern metropolitan region in the process to identify an alternative to landfill for the region's waste.
